Living the College Dream

     Dear friends,
I may very well die soon. Ok not really. But I really need to figure out my food situation. Either I pay for an overly priced, expensive, assortment of crap food, or I bring a small ration of something from home to keep myself barely going until I get home. I've gone back and forth between both methods and both of them really suck. Today I had a small loaf of bread, 1 small chicken wing, and 4 small danish like pastries. I'm not hungry because of it but I'm pretty sure it's not the healthiest thing. Though, if I didn't care about healthy food, then I might as well just go buy the junk food. But I'm more concerned about money at that point. I don't have much money, and the bit that I have I'd rather use for a date. Yeah, I'm selfish. get over it. I think it's fine to slightly starve for a successful future date.
     In other news, I have band practice tomorrow. I'm looking forward to it cause I'm gonna work on a lot of stuff. Firstly, I wanna work on the last song we were working on last thursday called Exit. Isn't it strange how when your practicing on something, it goes perfectly but as soon as you try to record it or perform it, all the mistakes come out. Yeah... So I'll probably get the structure more firmly set. And then we'll most likely make another song. Perhaps I'll have 2 things to upload this week for our band. and just so you know, our youtube channel is PopwarBand.
     Also, I really can't wait for Friday. I'm finally gonna get Raquel over to my house. she rarely visits me so it's cool. Normally, I'm the one that goes to her house but with a little bit of harassment and seduction I think I've finally convinced her.
   So that's really all that's new. First year of college is still freaking easy, I may die of malnutrition, and these stairs really do come in handy when it starts to get hot out. I'm living the dream people. I'm living the dream... Under some stairs.

Beneath the stairs

Hello friday. How are you doing today? Me? I'm good. Last night I was hanging out at Raquel's house for several hours so I was pretty relaxed and happy when I got home. But then I had to pick up my sister from band practice and I had to drive other people home which sucked but whatever. So I woke up in a decent mood, drove to school, went to class. I thought I had a test today but apparently, I only have tests on Mondays. For programming class at least. so yeah, currently sitting at my favorite place at UCR. Under the stairs behind the MSE building. It's always shady here so even on the hottest days, it's really cold here. But because of that, I think more people will show up over time. I hope not but at the same time I hope a shy girl comes over here so I can attempt to recruit her as the drummer in my band. Yes, I want a female drummer. Probably because I love Scott Pilgrim and also because it seemed cool in K-On. Well, in any case, I'll have to just wait for the right moment and person.
  Also, It seems that my videos didn't upload this morning. I was having internet problems before I left but I think I might have accidentally turned off my computer cause I was in a hurry to beat traffic. So I'll have to resume uploading when I get home at 2. Then off to Raquel's house to relax before the weekend. I may be helping her at some park clean up thing for her school but she still hasn't told me where or when so she's probably trying to get me not to come. Well less work for me I guess.
  Anywayz, that's really all that's going on at this place in time so I'm going to watch the new episode of Mawaru Penguindrum. FOR DESTINY!

I'm at College!

  So it's been a while since I posted anything to my blog because I never really had the need to since I was always by my computer and could make a video which included any thoughts I would put here. But now that college has started, I can't just make a video whenever I feel like it. But I do have many breaks during my schedule that lets me just sit down with my new laptop. So I'll probably be using this blog a lot more. Still, no one reads this but maybe eventually. In any case, let's talk about my college schedule since I'm somewhat on the topic.
  So Monday is jam packed with classes. I start at 9 and I don't leave til 5. I don't have a chance to eat unless it's while I'm running across campus. Which is fun. Gotta love running for 6 or 7 minutes with a heavy load on your back while worrying if you'll be able to get a good seat. I'm pretty fast though so it's not a big problem.
  On Tuesdays, I have a class at 8AM for about an hour then my next class is at 2. So I have lots of time to do stuff. I'll probably just do homework that I got from Monday then.
  On Wednesday, I start at 9 for an hour then my next class is at 3:30! so Now I have to sit here for about 5 hours! Hopefully my laptop battery will last. I'll find out today.
  Thursdays are the best though. I have a class at 8AM then that's it! Homeward bound for me. so I've made that day the day that me and my band will meet up for practices. It should work.
  Friday is almost like Thursday except I have some sort of mandatory study session til 12 or something. Then I have the whole weekend to do whatever. It's great!
  My schedule and classes aren't too terribly bad but I wish I could move those afternoon classes up so I could go home earlier. Those classes are why I don't have so much time to record and upload videos. But it's fine. My schedule for uploading videos will be about 3 a day. I'll upload videos in MWF mornings and in the afternoon of Tues and Thurs. I'll probably do all my recording over the weekend but I'll try to upload a video or two on the weekends as well.
  I'm basically just trying to fill my schedule somehow. I never had to make a schedule in High School so this is kind of hard to manage my time. But I'm good at making it up as I go. And since I'm a Computer Science major, most of my assignments can be done on my computer which I can now take with me due to this handy laptop. I used to hate laptops but they are very useful even if they can't run games.
  So I'm as enthusiastic as my friends are about being in college but I have to say, it's much better than being in High School.

New Ground of the Backing!

I made a new background for youtube! It's actually the same one that's posted right here on my blog. Looks cool, huh? Well I hope so. I made it using Vue 9.5. A very, very, very expensive 3D graphics program. But it's completely worth it. It's actually my dad's sort of thing but I borrowed it so I could make that background. I might try to make a better one later when I figure out how to make more than simple islands and words.
Anywayz, I finally got my phone working. Apparently it hasn't been working for the past month and a half. Partially explains why I haven't gotten any calls or texts lately. It could also be the fact that I never turn it on or use it. Probably not. But I got it working again but now I have to use it. Cause I got in trouble. For NOT using my phone a lot. It just proves my point that I'm far from a normal person. But yeah, I started texting again today. It's odd... I'm the slowest fricken texter ever. Well, probably not but I text really slowly. I also have a crap phone. But whatever. Screw nice phones! Screw touchscreen phones with tons of applications! Screw phones that are almost like mobile computers! Screw mobile computers! Screw phones that I really wish I had! Screw the lot of em...

It's the Morning!

So I woke up and the sun was actually on the other side of the sky for a change. It took me 3 alarm clocks to do it but I managed to wake up at 8. Normally, if I said that, I think everyone would think I meant PM. But no, it was AM. Crazy. And now I'm listening to UVERworld while sitting around waiting for my ride. Also waiting for my video to convert so I can upload it before I leave. Hopefully the timing works out. Should only take about 20 minutes so everything will probably work like clockwork.
So last night, right before I went to bed at 3AM, I went on ThinkGeek.com and ordered another $30 worth of stuff. XD I did that a little while back and it was completely worth it. I played with the Smart Mass so much. But not as much lately cause of a certain incident that happened to me while playing Civilization 4 a week ago. I was playing with the Smart Mass (basically adult silly putty) and without thinking, I placed it behind my leg and sat on my leg so that the putty was squished between my leg. But when I tried to separate my leg, the putty was stuck on my leg hair and I couldn't pull my leg apart. It was like extremely strong tape on my leg. I pulled off most of it but I still couldn't really separate my leg. So I hobbled over to the bathroom where I tried to get it off with hot water. It didn't work. The water was really hot though, it burned my leg basically. So then I tried using shampoos and soaps to try to wash it off. a little came off but not enough for me to be comfortable with. Then I took out some small scissors and tried to cut it off. I didn't cut myself but I do have a sort of bald spot under my leg now. But even that didn't work very well. So then I took out some strong cleaner stuff that said "fights grime!" or something like that so I figured why not? so I put that on a small towel and scrubbed. That worked decently well. So I sat and scrubbed for a while. Eventually I got it off but there were little black specks all over the bathtub and some on the floor so my sister got mad at me the next day. Also, I don't think that cleaner is good for the skin but whatever, nothing happened so far.

Announcing I have a Blog

I really need to get around to telling people that I really have a blog now. XD Well I'll probably say it in my next minecraft video which I'll record tomorrow. Should I put this on facebook as well? eh, might as well, right?
In other news, I am currently listening to UVERworld after playing Terraria with David. There were some changes but nothing too great. But I did get some cool rocket boots.And David just got to the end of the dungeon in his map right now and said he got some crap items. How disappointing.
So I am slowly trying to cut my addiction to Mountain Dew. I'm using my laziness to not get up to get them. And instead of grabbing 2 at a time, I only grab 1. So it may be a while but I'l lhopefully get over it soon. XD
Also, I'm gonna try to get my sleep schedule back on track by going to sleep earlier. Right now it's about 2:30 so I'm probably gonna go to sleep right now. Makes me 2.5 hours earlier than normal. Quite sad... But yeah, I must fix my sleeping so that I can actually do stuff during the day! No more nocturnal activity! Well I probably would keep my schedule the same but I can't exactly go over to Raquel's house at 6P.M. And expect to stay long.
Let's see... What else is going on? Well I'm finally going to pick up my diploma tomorrow. It's been about a month I think? That's probably another reason to fix my sleep schedule. I wake up when the school closes. But David and Stephanie are picking up theirs tomorrow so they're gonna wake me up and bring me. Otherwise, I'll probably never get it...
Well, I'll probably go to bed now. Gotta wake up early for a change.

Dew Headache

I was completely right about drinking caffeine before going to bed... I woke up 3 times during the night/morning and when I finally stayed awake, I had a huge headache. This is probably my version of a hangover since I don't and can't drink alcohol. It probably didn't help that I also went to bed when the sun came out. For me, it's really hard to go to bed when it's not completely dark. And it was also very hot in my room again. I usually open my window at night to let the cold air in and then close it when I go to bed so that it doesn't get too cold, but i forgot to do that last night and it just got really hot in my room.
I had some weird dreams last night. I can't remember what they were exactly but I'm pretty sure they involved me saving the world from food that had british accents. And then I remember floating at the bottom of a pool which led to me fighting people in a desert. That's all I can remember but I'm sure there's something more... Oh well.

Second Rant of the Night

Well I finally started this blog up again after my failed first attempt. Trying to answer questions is impossible without the questions and doubly so when the questions I was seeking were actually the answers themselves that lacked questions. It was very confusing. So I hit the magical button of deletion and began anew. But what to write... Well anything I suppose. And how long? Very long, but what about the blog? And should I include emoticons? If so, please insert a small XD after the answer to the length question. And also there. Anywayz, I should stop using that extra Z. Bu tI do love the letter Z. Why? Because it's hardly used but it just looks so cool. Like a stretched out N that fell on it's side. Does anyone bother to help this poor N, no. Or maybe it's actually right side up and N is actually fallen over. But where does that leave M, or W? Maybe the whole alphabet is composed of drunk letters that fall over and give each other new names based on how they landed. Seems like a solid way of composing the basis of an entire language.
Anywayz, this is the second rant of the night for me (well, morning really). The first rant was on Minecraft earlier but it was mostly just a complaint about a lack of subscribers on youtube and a lot of math and science. All of which worry me. Mostly due to money. You see, youtube is a hobby that I could potentially benefit from which would greatly help me with finding funds for college. And math worries me, not because math is the basis of money but because I'm really worried that I didn't pass the AP Calculus test which would mean that I'd have to panic to take the math placement exam for UCR by the end of July but I get the AP exam results mid July So I'll have about 2 weeks in between getting the results and possibly having to take the placement exam. I should probably just take the placement exam but I'm trying to save as much money as I can. But that's enough about worries. I'll save the worries for some other time. What your probably interested in, if your interested at all, are the strange ideas I have.
Well look no further for strange ideas, I have plenty. But the ones that currently inhabit my mind at the moment are a secret due to the fact that they could be very beneficial to myself and I'd rather not have my ideas used for someone's benefit while I get nothing. So I will save ideas for a different day. In other news, I just drank a Mountain Dew about 30 minutes ago and I'm beginning to feel the crash. Maybe I should just stop drinking soda. There are no good effects and I feel weird when I drink it when I'm tired. Also, if you drink a lot of caffeine right before going to bed, you wake up really weird. But usually I just dream about my girlfriend. Mostly cause I haven't seen her in a few weeks cause of things. Transportation things, family things on both sides, lack of whatever and bleh. Should I keep talking so formally here. Eh, screw it. Imma talk like I do on facebook for a while just cause I'm fricken lazy right at this moment and I just don't feel like thinking. My brain is exploding in slow motion and I can feel it happening. Also, I need to go to the bathroom but instead I'm here writing what would normally have been a really long status update. Gah, my head is starting to rock back in forth. I should probably go to bed before I fall asleep at the computer. Eh, I'll probably post a story here later. Anywayz, that was my rant for now. Weird but whatever.

Hello, Welcome to this thing of a blog. I have no idea what exactly a blog is or where the name comes from but it makes me think of a blue blob that can fly and bounce. Anywayz, this post will serve as the pretext of my stories, rants, ideas, or anything otherwise. Grammar is likely to be correct but not necessarily since grammar isn't necessary in understanding the vague concept. It only narrows down the meaning to it's exact meaning unless misread. But as I said, this isn't about grammar, it's about ideas and stories. It's a place where I am the creator of worlds through words. But it's also a secondary release from my mind. First being my Minecraft Let's Plays on youtube. But there are things in my brain that do not reveal themselves easily when spoken. But behind a keyboard, my hands will do that work that my mouth cannot do. So without further ado, I will now leave you to explore and imagine as I post ideas frequently.
